Jesus has sent the church to mission, to finish his mission through the power of the Spirit to the ends of the earth. This mission is sourced in the eternal life of God as he makes his first step towards the world he made. The church is to mirror this first step toward the world by giving their lives together to the mission. However, as we go about this mission there will be great opposition, but because Jesus has risen from the dead we will succeed.
