Redemption Church is dedicated to creating a safe, caring, environment for our children to grow, play, and learn about their place in God's epic story.
We provide childcare for our smallest members, ranging in age from newborn to four-year-olds, in the Nursery Wing (down the hallway next to the Welcome Center). Classes for this group are available every week for the duration of the service. We also provide a Nursing Room/Crib Room for mothers of young infants should they wish to feed their babies outside the sanctuary or put them down for a nap.
Kids from Kindergarten through 5th Grade start out the service worshipping with their parents. After a special Kids Catechism time, they are dismissed to their classes in the Elementary Wing (down the hallway on the far end of the Fellowship Hall).
Our teachers use The Gospel Project curriculum to teach through the Scriptures, showing how each and every story points to Jesus. Children are introduced to people serving all over the world and locally through our Mission's Moment videos. They are given Scripture to memorize with the help of fun songs (also available to parents on our Spotify playlist). Take home sheets provide a summary of all that was taught, so parents can revisit it with them throughout the week.
Redemption Church is not only dedicated to teaching our children a firm foundation in biblical truth, but also providing a safe and secure environment in which to do so. All our teachers and volunteers go through a thorough background check and vetting process. Refer to links to our Safety and Wellness policies for more detailed information.
New students can be registered on the Church Center App prior to your first visit, or simply go to the Check-In Center (directly ahead as you enter the main doors) and someone will be there to assist you. Contact Rebekah Turk to learn more. Click here to volunteer.
