Pastor Dr. Scott Osborne

Scott has been pastoring at Redemption Church since 2004. Through these years the Spirit has put a desire in him to see followers of Jesus intimately live their lives together around the Gospel for those who do not yet know Him. He loves to see people come to know and participate in God’s story. Scott was married in 1999 to Chelle and they have four children—Madelyn, Elanna, Owen, and Tyler. Through a long battle, Chelle died of brain cancer in 2016. God then brought Jenn into this family’s life and they were married in 2022. Scott loves (missional) theology, soccer (Barca & Inter), and traveling—especially with Jenn!

Jenn was born and raised in Hampton Roads. She began to follow Jesus when she was 18 years old. She also lost her first husband, Dre, to cancer in 2016. She is a behind the scenes, faithful servant of Jesus. She loves to dance, watch crime shows, and use her gift of hospitality.

Pastor Nate Bauers

Nate has lived in Chesapeake for over 20 years, and he has a deep desire to see men, women and children come to see their identity in Jesus and be brought into his fold. Nate loves pastoring people through counseling, preaching, and through seeing men and women trained as disciple makers. Nate married his beautiful bride, Jana, in August of 2016.

Jana was raised an Army brat, and faithfully leads the RC Music team. Jana and Nate have one daughter, the amazing Beatrice Rose Bauers, whose smile and energy and joy bring so much delight to the whole Bauers family.

Nate, Jana, and Beatrice enjoy cozy nights at home, wild adventures, coffee shops, working out (Nate), and traveling with friends and family.
