Story determines identity. Identity determines actions.

Redemption Church commits itself to the glory of the triune God as we faithfully participate in God's story.

The church must orient its life around God's story so that it knows who they are and what Jesus has sent them to do in the power of the Spirit. Without locating our place in God's missional drama, we are susceptible to do all kinds of things in the name of Jesus.

It is also not enough for the church to change its actions or methods because all of our actions flow from our identity--who we think we are. And who we think we are is determined by whatever story of the world we hold to be true.

We desire God's story to be the story of our heart's passion, so that we will know who God has made us to be, so that we will faithfully act in ways that truly bring glory to his name.
