Foundations Class

What would it look like if followers of Jesus began to live out their identity of being the church instead of merely attending a church? What if church wasn't a place you go but who you are? We believe that communities centered around mission are the heart of what God has called His church to be and do. Redemption Church will be holding this Foundations Class to unpack what and who Redemption Church is and what we believe about equipping and mobilizing the church of everyday people into everyday life on mission.

This class is an opportunity for newer people who are interested in partnering with us as a covenant family to discover the vision of this missional lifestyle and learn what it means to live on mission with us. The class will be held on Saturday, May 19 at the Chesapeake campus. Breakfast will begin at 8:00am, and the class will start at 8:30am and conclude at 12:30pm. There will be no child care for this event.

CPC Walk for Life

Crisis Pregnancy Center of Tidewater has a unique opportunity to minister to women and families as they experience the challenge of an unplanned pregnancy. The Walk for Life is a great way to support CPC and raise funds that save lives! Not only that, families are transformed by the gospel. As an individual or MC, sign up for the Walk at www.cpcfriends.org/walk. It's easy! Also, you can do the walk on April 28 at the Norfolk Zoo and make it an event for all the families in your MC!

Rooted

Teenagers are an integral part of the church body, and we believe the Spirit wants them to be part of our family of servant missionaries. We are holding our monthly Rooted night on Sunday April 22 at 5:30pm at Pastor Scott’s house (2324 Shipyard Road, Chesapeake, 23323). We will use this night to continue to deepen our relationships with one another and to deepen our understanding of the story of God. Parents are encouraged to join us, and there will be pizza for dinner.

Please contact Scott Osborne if you have any questions.
